The PanzerNode is a radio transceiver designed to withstand blasting operations and the most extreme underground environments. Just like the BatNode, it acts as a fully mesh, ad-hoc battery-powered network node, requiring no setup other than powering it on. However, the PanzerNode takes durability and endurance to the next level.
Encased in an ultra-tough 3mm Stainless Steel 316L housing, the PanzerNode is built to survive direct exposure to blasting zones. When positioned behind a pillar or within a safe zone, it maintains seamless communication during and after detonations, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity for underground operations.
Unlike other nodes, the PanzerNode is equipped with three removable, rechargeable batteries, providing a minimum of 30 days of continuous operation on a single charge. Additionally, the batteries can be hot-swapped one by one without shutting down the device or disrupting the network, allowing for uninterrupted long-term use with regular battery replacements every four weeks.
