The XStag and UltraTAG-L Transponders are designed for seamless integration with our FixCom communication system, providing a comprehensive solution for communication, asset tracking, and personnel localization in underground environments. These transponders are powered by external sources, typically mining cap lamps, ensuring they remain operational as long as the lamp is charged.
These intrinsically safe devices are essential for maintaining safety and efficiency in underground operations. Once integrated into a cap lamp, each transponder uniquely identifies the worker using the lamp, enabling precise tracking and monitoring.
The transponders enable a variety of crucial functions, such as recording whether an employee is underground or on the surface, monitoring crew movement within designated areas, and supervising the number of people and the maximum time spent in specific zones. They can trigger alarms in case of no movement, monitor the battery voltage of the connected device, and can remotely locate missing or unconscious personnel with an accuracy of up to 5 meters, except in cases of collapse.
Furthermore, they support automatic supervision of lamp stations, including charger presence, charging time, and charge status. When connected to the optional communication port of the integrated device, they can transmit data to and from the device, enhancing functionality and data management.
Each transponder has a unique identification number corresponding to its serial number, ensuring precise and secure data transmission.
The XStag and UltraTag L Transponders are exceptionally energy-efficient, with low power consumption. Their integration with the FixCom system is straightforward, making it easy to enhance your existing infrastructure with advanced tracking and communication capabilities.
