Components:

• MiniNodes: Battery-operated nodes creating a wireless network for communication.
• mPhones: Radiotelephones that connect to the network, facilitating individual and group communication, location tracking, and data transmission.
• Laptop with SpellCom Software: Acts as the central control, allowing the Cave Rescue Manager to monitor operations, track positions, and maintain communication.

SpellCom ensures wireless communication between underground personnel and surface control, coordinating rescue and exploration activities. It can easily extend its range and partially supervise the network, with a standstill mode to conserve battery life, extending operation from 2.5 days to up to 3 months.
